The battle for equality between men and women has been an age-long debate in contemporary world notably in Africa and especially in Nigeria. Years after the Fourth World Conference on Women which held in Beijing, China, in 1995, the ‘equality war’ seems not to have subsided as the women believe men have continued to usurp their positions even in the Ministry of Women Affairs which supposedly should be run by women. Do you think the women are justified in their arguments or they are just ranting?
